Valentine's day gift guide
Hey guys !
So it's already this time of the year again: chocolates, flowers, romantic diners, jewelry, chocolates again, did I say flowers ?
Well if you're like me and not easily moved by cheesy-cute-gooey attentions, Valentine's day is definitely the kind of day you try to avoid and hide at your place in a big sweater all day.. And if you are single on top of that, well you better HIDE eheh. Kidding ! You know me, sarcasms, drama.
We all like to be cheesy sometimes and let's admit it, it really does not hurt to spread the love from time to time. Whether you are with someone or single, TREAT YOURSELF and the others if you wish so (your mother, your bestie, sister..).
I always like to see life on the positive side and to take the best out of every moment so every little occasion is good to take guys.
Are you single and still not convinced by my "spread the love" pitch? Here are some tips and tricks to survive this love-wave day:
- Cook for yourself ! I am a big food lover and nothing says "I love you" better than a perfectly cooked meal, so let's say "I love you" to yourself.
- Go out with your friends ! Don't think about this special day too much, go out and have some fun ! After all, it is just another day in your week and if you don't over-think and dramatise the situation.. well it's a lot easier !
- If you love finding gifts and giving them to your loved ones, you can definitely give them to your family, your best friends etc.. V-day is not only made for lovers, it is meant to say "I love you" and this can totally be applied for many different important people in your life.
For those of you who are still on a perfect V-day gift hunt, I decided to give you a little bit of help and/or inspiration for your presents because we all need a hand from time to time, especially when it comes to gifts !
